September 2009, we had an idea. We would use the various social networks to build a "Draft Herman Cain for President" movement. Initially, we set up several social networking groups, Facebook, Myspace and Windows Live. We settled in on Facebook as it maintains a significant marketshare and is growing rapidly. It was the right decision.
Over the course of months, we connected with thousands of people developing, perhaps the most successful "draft" effort for a political candidate. Our message was simple:
"America bought "Hope and Change" in 2008 only to be served more irresponsible big government spending which we will be paying for generations to come. It is time that America has a leader that is bold and determined to reign in the excesses of previous administrations. We believe Herman Cain is that leader! With his savvy business experience, life experiences and his ability to harness people, Cain has the ability to advance the common sense reforms that are desperately needed in this country."
ElectCain.com is designed to develop teams of volunteers to build a grassroots base, supporting Herman Cain and encouraging his run for the presidency. To participate in this grassroots effort, simply

We are not a political campaign and do not solicit dollars or fundraise. We are a broad network utilizing our 1st amendment rights to organize via social networking.
